🌷 November 14 — Spring in Waiting: Bulb Lasagna

This might be the least instantly gratifying workshop on the calendar.

And that's exactly why I love it.

We're planting spring in November.

In this two-hour workshop, you'll create a layered bulb container—or “bulb lasagna”—using several varieties of spring-blooming bulbs planted at different depths inside one substantial outdoor pot.

It won't look like much when you carry it home.

Underneath the soil, though, you'll have layers of bulbs waiting their turn. As winter gives way to warmer days, the container begins to change, with different varieties emerging and blooming over time.
